Day at the zoo

On Wednesday the kids had the day off, so we decided to get out and go to the zoo with some friends.  It was a nice day.  Wasn't cold and wasn't to hot.  The kids had a lot of fun, they love the zoo.  We got to see the monkeys and the birds.  The lions were super close to the window, that was pretty cool.  The kids got to feed a giraffe, that was pretty awesome.  I just wish I got pictures of it.  The kids also got to ride on the merry-go-round and feed some goats.  The girls favorite thing was feeding the giraffe.  They loved peaking their heads up and looking at the prairie dogs, they thought that was pretty funny.  The meerkat's were pretty funny too.  After they looked at all the animals they got to go play on the play stuff that the zoo has.  They had a lot of fun.  They are already begging to go back to the zoo.  Maybe this summer when we have time to go.  It was a nice day to be outside and spend some time with your kids.
