Movie night Feb 21

Movie Night
Tonight we watched...

Up

We didn't do anything special for this movie.  We got pizza and I made caramel popcorn.
I know this is a sad movie, but nobody cried.  Shelby did say during the beginning "she dies right?"  I think she was preparing herself so she didn't cry.  It does have a happy ending, and it is a cute funny movie, we enjoyed watching it tonight.
Only 1 more Friday left in February, man this month seemed like it has gone by fast, but then again it is a short month.

Day 15-21 Sorry been busy or maybe just lazy

Day 15: Share your love story
Here goes, I will try my best.

So I met my husband in high school.  We went to the same school, he was a senior and I was a junior.  We had 1 class together Chemistry (isn't that ironic).  If you could believe it I was kind of shy and didn't talk to many people in that class.  One day I sat in front of Jeremy and he decided that maybe he should talk to me, so he started a conversation by showing my pictures of Salma Hayek in her swim suit in his agenda book.  I will tell you that conversation didn't last long.  I think I looked that the pictures and then at him and smile and then turned around.  What do you say to that?  I don't think I talked to him for the rest of the school year.  I thought he was some big jock since he was into sports like track and wrestling.  He did admit to me later when we started dating that he use to check out my bottom a lot in that class.  I did have a cute bottom.
Well, Jeremy ended up joining the LDS church, I didn't convert him, some other girl did.  And that's how we kind of got to know each other.  I would talk to him at stake dances and other church activities.  But we never dated, until I needed a date for prom my senior year and decided to ask him.

And that's where it all started.  We have been together since.
I graduated, he joined the army and went off to basic training.  He got to come home for Christmas and when we were at my aunt  and uncles house for Christmas eve he asked me to marry him, and of course I said yes.  He didn't ask me in front of everyone cause he didn't want to die, so he asked me outside.  It was pretty romantic.  He left again for basic and we got married a month after he got back home.  We got married in the beautiful month of May.
We have been married for 12 now.  I think we have now finally gotten use to each other.  We have our hard times and we have our good time.  The good out way the bad.  We have 2 beautiful children, a dog and a 2cat, Netflix and a house of our very own.  The perfect love story.
Sorry I am not a mushy person so I hope you guys weren't hoping for some wonderful romantic story.

Day 16: Cover a news story
I'm not going to cover a news story cause I don't get to pay to much attention to the news.  I'm sure you guys know more then I do.  Plus the news tells the story better then I do, and I'm not sure on my opinions sometime, I just know some things make me upset and some things make me happy.  Plus the news has way more sad things then happy things, and I don't like to be sad.  So if you want a news story go pick up a news paper, I'm sure you will find a good one.

17: Vlog!
Nope not going to do it!

Day 18: Describe your personal style
Ok this will be easy.
I usually wear tee-shirt and jeans with tennis shoes and a hoody or some kind of jacket.  That's when I decided to change out of my yoga pants, which I call my McDonald pants (a joke between me and my husband).  Some days I have curly hair some days I straighten my hair.  And the days I go to the gym I put it in a teeny pony tail, cause I don't have a lot of hair, and put a head band on.  Lately I haven't been wearing a lot of make up, cause who wants to work out with a ton of stuff on your face.  Man, when I talk about working out it makes me sound really buff, good thing this is the internet and you guys can't really see me.  So all you guys know (unless you really know me) that I am some buff chic that works out all the time.  I like the sound of that, maybe I should do that.  I also like thinking you guys are thinking I really tough.  Anyways, that is my personal style, just add some cat or dog hair on my clothes and you know my style.

Day 19: Create a resource list
Umm, I don't even know.

Day 20: Write a mission statement for your blog
Ok, this isn't some job, so I would rather not.  Plus I don't even know how to write one.

Day 21:Round up the best posts you've read this week and share them
I don't think I read a lot of posts this week, just my families.  I guess I did read some about eczema due to my youngest having some problems with it.  But it really isn't worth sharing.

Movie Night Feb 14

Movie Night Feb 14,
we watched....

I haven't watched this movie in a long time.  I had to come up with a movie for Valentine's Day, so I picked this one.  I'm sure there were better ones, but I like this movie.  Prince Phillip is one of my favorites.
I think the girls enjoyed it.  They didn't get scared.
To celebrate Valentine's Day and movie night we made bagel pizzas and Shirley Temples.

After that we enjoyed Banana Splits.
Well my girls didn't.  They had never had them before and I guess they didn't like them.
Shelby ended up making hers into mush.
We had a fun night, the girls had fun at school for Valentine's day.  They got a lot of goodies and cards.
We had a pretty good Valentine's Day this year, spending with our little family.

Day 14

Day 14: It's Valentine's Day, who or what do you love

Well that is easy,
I love my wonderful husband and my stinky kids.
They are everything to me.  I couldn't imagine being able to live with out them in my life.
My husband took me out to lunch today and we walked around in the rain.  It was actually pretty nice.  We enjoyed each others company.
Tonight we are planning on movie night.  The girls are excited about that.

My Top 20 Romantic Movies

So for Valentine's day I decided to share my top 20 all time romantic movies.
I am not a huge romantic movie fan, you will probably see more comedy and action movies then romantic movies in my movie library.  I do have a lot of romantic comedies too.
So here is my list.

20: Robin Hood Prince of thieves
I think every woman likes this movie, and it's not because of Kevin Costner's butt.  Maybe for some woman, but not this one.
I think I pick this movie for number 20 is that it is sad but it also has a happy ending.

19: Princess Dairy 2
I chose this movie mostly because the guy is super cute.  I love Captain Kurt.
Plus it's a cute movie to watch, makes you smile.

18: Brides Maids
This movie is pretty dirty, but so funny.  Makes me laugh really hard every time I watch it.  It has a happy ending so it is on my list.

17: Austenland
I just bought this movie and I like it a lot, it is funny and cute.  The book is better, which usually always happens.  It is a fun watch.  Who doesn't love a Jane Austen story line.

16: The Wedding Singer
Great movie, probably one of my favorite Adam Sandler movies.

15: He's Just Not That Into You
This movie makes me laugh, I can't say I like all the story lines but it makes me laugh and I am happy how some of the relationships turn out.

14: Benny & Joon
I Just love this movie, one of my favorites.

13: Better off Dead
Funny movie with a love story.  It's great, a must watch.

12: 13 Going on 30
This is a fun movie to watch.  Cute love story.

11: Much Ado About Nothing
One of my favorite Shakespeare movies.

10: Far & Away
Once again I think this is a much loved movie for women.  It's has drama and happiness.

9: Little Women
This is a cute story about sisters and finding love.  It is sad and happy but I like it.  I've been meaning to read the book.

8: Dan in Real Life
You have to love this movie, the poor man and what he has to go through but in the end finds love.

7: Return to Me
This was one of my favorite romantic movies for a long time.  I would watch it a lot.

6: Pride & Prejudice
Most women love Pride & Prejudice.  I chose this one cause the man who plays Mr. Darcy melts my heart.  I do love me some Colin Firth though.

5: Dirty Dancing
One of the best romantic movies out there.  Has a great soundtrack too.  Patrick Swayze you were every girls dream man back then, rest in peace.

4: Princess Bride
Great story, love, action, mystery, danger, comedy, you name it, it has it.  If you love the movie, the book is even better.

3: Bridget Jones 2 Edge of Reason
This movie makes me laugh so much.  Plus it has Colin Firth in it :)

2: Bridge Jones
If you haven't watched these movies, you should so funny.  Love them they are one of my favorites.

My #1 movie is...

1: Leap Year
I love this movie, it makes me feel happy when I watch it.  I love the man in it, I love his accent.  I think I just have a thing for men with accents, actually I know I do.  I think a lot of my movies have men with accents in them.  I love them.

So here is my list, you can agree or disagree with me.  These would be my choses to watch when I need some happy love movies.

I've been slacking on my days

Wow sorry guys I have been really slacking.
Life gets busy and I just don't sit down and write on my blog, then all of those days just stack up.
I think I have 7 to write about.
I think I may skip some, cause that is just way to much stuff to think about.

Day 8: Lessons I've learned
Well I have learned a lot of lessons.
I guess a recent one would be learning to live in a city.
Even though I don't live in a big city but it is bigger then where I came from.
So I have learned to manage my time so I have time to get where I need to go because of traffic and to drive like they do in the city.  I have learned about HOA's and water and garbage schedules.
I have learned not to go shopping on certain days and times and what is the best route to drive.
So that is some of the things I have learned.

Day 9: Write a short Story
Umm, I do not have time for this.  Plus I have no idea what to write about.

Day 10: 10 facts about yourself
Umm, this might be hard for me to do.
1. I have had heart surgery a few times when I was little
2. I played the drums in high school and still play them once and a while
3. I could probably eat tacos everyday of my life
4. I met my husband in high school
5. I love to bake cookies, it is my stress relief
6. I am a pretty awkward person and if something's going to happen it will happen to me.
7. I sell Scentsy, but I don't think I am very good at it but I try
8. I am terrified of zombies but I still watch zombie movies.
9. I can't wear socks when I sleep because my feet feel Closter phobic
10. I hate peppers and pineapple, the taste and the smell

There I hope that satisfied you guys.

Day 11: Write a letter to your younger self
Keep cool and be yourself.  Don't change for anybody.  Oh and don't work at Walmart, go to college.

Day 12: Share a local favorite spot
I don't think I have one.  I don't get out to much.  I guess I could say the Meridian Public library.  That is usually the only place we go.  I do like Lucky Perk and Dutch Brothers though.

Day 13: Have a Pinterest fail?  Blog about it.
I do not have a Pinterest fail, cause I am good at everything I do.  And if I think it could be to hard and I could fail at it I don't do it.  I don't like to fail.  So my motto in life is, Keep it simple stupid.

Movie night Feb 7th

For movie night tonight we watched

Night at the Museum
This is a fun movie to watch, my girls really like it.  I even enjoy watching this movie.
I like it when we take breaks from cartoons.  I do like cartoons, but sometimes you just need a little break from them.
This is a good family movie.
We didn't do anything special for it tonight, just had tacos and popcorn that is it.  Kind of boring, but the movie entertained us enough it didn't matter.

Here is the list for February

Feb 14: Sleeping Beauty
Feb 21: Up
Feb 28: Night at the Museum 2

I might have already shared this, I am not sure.  If I have you guys just get the info again.

Days 4-7

Day 4: Write a post for beginners
I'm not going to do this one because I don't even know what to do.  I might be able to come up with something, but I don't really have the time and energy to record everything.  Sorry you guys, maybe I'll teach you something new.

Day 5: Share a family tradition

Well, I don't remember any family traditions from when I was a kid.  I don't think we had to many.  I did start one with my family.  We try to do movie night every Friday night as a family.  I started this last year cause I thought my husband was going to be gone and we need something to look forward to every week.  Turns out he didn't have to leave and we just keep having movie night.  My children love it.  So I think this tradition will last a long time.

Day 6: Host a guest blog
I don't know how to do this.  Do you just post about someone else blog and talk about it?  I need to learn all these blogging things.

Day 7: Give something away
So do they mean for me to give away an item, cause I really don't know what to give away, and I have no idea how to do that.
or do they mean give something away like a secret.  I don't have one of those either.
I do share my awesomeness every time I blog though, that should be good enough.
Sometime I will learn all this cool blogging stuff.

Movie Night 1-31

So for Movie Night I didn't stick with my list because a movie my kids have been waiting to see came out onto dvd, so we watched that.
We watched...

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2

We had,
Meatballs
and
Rice
to go with the movie.
We also had some yummy chocolate cake.

The girls enjoyed the movie, but I thought the first one was better.  It was still a good movie though.
It's fun to watch if anyone is interested in watching it.  Like I said the girls liked it and it was fun to see all the different creatures they came up with.

So here is the line up for February movies,

Feb 7: Night at the museum
Feb 14: Sleeping Beauty
Feb 21: UP

These can always change, especially since Ender's Game is coming out this month.

Day 30 & 31

So here is the end of the month

Day 30: Show where you blog

Well, where I blog is pretty boring, it's in my living room where my computer is.
So there is no need for a picture.

Day 31: Do you have a cute Valentine Craft?
Yes, yes I do.

But I haven't started it yet.  We are going to make some cute pencil with pom poms on the top with googly eyes.  This will be for Tyra's class.  I will get it started soon, I kind of have to.
If you guys are interested in the idea here is the website,
