September

I'm not much of a blogger, I should be but I'm not.  I have a hard time organizing my thoughts, so I never know what to write about.  I get pretty over whelmed.  I thought I would attempt to write about how our September went.  It was a pretty busy month.

1st the girls started school started school at the very end of August.  Tyra started 3rd grade and Shelby finally got to start Kindergarten.  Shelby was super excited to start school.  She's been ready for school for a long time now.  The girls both have really good teachers.  I have been able to go in help Shelby's class a few times.  It's been fun.  I'm going to go in at help Tyra's class starting next week.  I do enjoy my little bit of time to myself though.  Shelby is only half day so I only get a few quiet hours to myself. It's been nice.

Shelby's 6th Birthday
So Shelby turned 6 this year.  She's getting so big.  My girls are growing up so fast.  We just had a birthday party with family and close friends.  She had fun, she was glad to see her cousins and Grandparents.  She wanted apple cupcakes so I made her some caramel apple cupcakes.  They turned out pretty good.  We just had a short birthday party, cause Tyra was baptized the same day as Shelby's party.  I will talk about that later.  On Shelby's birthday we went and got the girls pictures taken.  It didn't turn out to well, She;by really didn't want to have her picture taken.  So she had a little melt down.  We finally got them taken and we got a few that turned out good.  After that was all done I took Shelby to build a bear to get her birthday present.  She picked a calico cat.  After that we went to have lunch at the girls favorite place, Mongolian BBQ.  She had a pretty fun birthday, well other then the pictures.
