2009

Sorry it's been a while. I haven't been much of a writer lately. I guess I feel I don't have a lot to write about.
Well, I am glad that 2008 is over. That year was crazy. So now it is time to start a new year. I really hope 2009 is better and not so busy. We haven't done a whole lot this month. I guess it just started. Jeremy and I spent our New Years eve and early New Years day at a church Stake Dance. Jeremy DJ's for the dance. I think he likes it. It was nice to spend that time together talking about what songs to play next and making fun of the teenagers. My mother was nice enough to watch the girls while we went to do that. Me and my mom just got back that day from Idaho Falls. We there for a couple of day to see my little sister and her cute little baby boy. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we probably would have driven them crazy. My little girls were crazy that whole time. Which has been going on a lot lately.

Shelby is going through a faze (i hope) with throwing fits. She throws them when she doesn't get her way, when she just wakes up, or sometimes I think she throws them just to throw them. She is also a screamer. Lately whenever we leave the store (walmart mostly) Shelby screams and crys as loud as she can while we are going out the door. I just worry people think that we are kidnapping her. I just don't know how to get her to stop.

Then we have a little 4 year old with an attitude. She is always trying to boss everyone around. Other then that Tyra is usually pretty good. We haven't gotten Tyra to go back to pre-k yet. For some reason she is terrified to go back to school at Grand View. She is doing really good at home though. She is reading books. Not just little pre-k books, she is reading 1st grade level books. Now if we can only get her to write her name. She is learning the days of the week and the months. She is also trying to figure out time and money. She is always willing to learn.

Well, we had a wonderful Christmas with my family. We got to see my sister Tracy and her family. That was a lot of fun. I always like to see the Moore family. They are so fun. My nephews are getting so big. My brother Erik and his family was there too. So it was a nice little Christmas day. The girl's got a lot of new stuff. Tyra got a V-Smile and she loves it. It was good to be around family. The kids got to go sledding. There uncle Tom pulled them around on the 4-wheeler. The kids loved that. We got a ton of snow at our house. My parents couldn't even get out of their drive way. The drifts were so big you could go sledding down them. Uncle Tom had a lot of shoveling to do. It was nice to finally have snow on Christmas eve and day.

Well this month is going by slow. I guess that is a good thing. We have a lot of appointments and meeting to go to this month so I'm sure it will speed up. I hope everyone will have a wonderful 2009. I will try to be better about writing.
