Our old Japanese exchange student came to visit us last week. She got in Friday night and spent Friday hanging out with Me and Jeremy. We aren't very exciting though. We took her to Mountain Home and drove by the High School and around town. Not a whole lot has changed. We got to spend some time with her on Saturday. She did sleep in till 1:30 pm though. I don't blame her, I would do the same. Then our good friend from High school came and picked her up to hang out in Boise for the next couple of days be for she had to go home.
It wasn't a very long visit, but it was nice to spend some time with her since we haven't seen her for almost 9 years. My girls now want to go to Japan. We took Mariko to the grade school to pick up Tyra and everyone in Tyra's class that she was pretty cool. Tyra does have a Japanese student in her class and a couple of half Japanese, so I thing Tyra thought it was cool to have something to share with them. We had a good time visiting with her and my girls love her.
