Must Watch Movie

We watched this move the other night. So funny! The girls loved it. I think it might be a must buy someday, when it's cheaper.

Candy Land

The girls got the game Candy Land for Christmas. They love that game. They are always asking to play it. The other day they talked Jeremy into playing with them.



Well Jeremy ended up winning and the best part was when Shelby said, "Yeah daddy!(as she's wrapping her arms around is neck) You won, you are my best daddy ever!" Shelby makes everyone feel so good. I love that girl.

Christmas 2010

So our Christmas of 2010 went well. We didn't do to many exciting things, but it was a lot fun. The girls really enjoyed it though. We spent Christmas eve at my aunt Ruth and uncle Keith's house. We always enjoy going there for Christmas eve and seeing everyone. I really enjoy the shrimp dip. The girls had fun playing with all the kids and opening presents. Thanks everyone who gave my girls a gift that was really nice of you all.

As for Christmas we spent it at my parents house with my brother Erik and his family. We had a wonderful breakfast and then opened presents. The kids were so excited. They got a ton of stuff this year. Probably more then they should have.

Tyra got a Nintendo DS, she loves it and she's been playing a lot. She also got a ton of zhu zhu pets. She loves them so much she's been playing with them non stop, well I guess she stops to play her DS. Her grandma Raytha gave her a stuffed sea turtle for Christmas. She loves it and sleeps with it.




Shelby got a Leapster for Christmas. She's having a hard time figuring out the games and stuff, but she is figuring it out slowly. Grandma Chick gave her a bumble bee transformer for Christmas. She was so excited. That is her favorite transformer. Her Grandma Raytha gave her a stuff Bison for Christmas. Shelby was so excited, the thing is she was excited even when she didn't know what it was.




The girls has a blast playing with Erik's girls. They had a ton of toys to play with and video games to play.


I got Jeremy a blender and a book called Art of Tron and he got me stuff to fix my drum set up with and an iPod touch. I think he likes my iPod.


We all had a wonderful Christmas spending time with family. Christmas always go by so fast. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and was able to spend it with the ones they love.

Stormy Sunday Afternoon

Today was pretty icky outside. It was all rainy and muddy and no fun. So of course we had to stay inside after church. So to keep the girls busy I let them paint some heart boxes I bought for the young women, it's a good think I had two left.
They had a lot of fun. After that they made a great big picture. They called it the stormy day. Pretty neat picture.



We ended up not having a huge Sunday dinner, like we do sometimes. We had little smokies and mac& cheese. Everyone seemed happy with it. So even though it was an icky day we still had fun. The girls are now taking a bath and we will read a story and go to bed. That will be great, because I am super tired.

Hair Cuts

Today I went and got the girls a hair cut. We did an a-line bob on Shelby and Tyra just wanted hers chin length. They turned out pretty cute. Now they don't have scraggly hair anymore.

Christmas Present To Myself

On Tuesday I went to a party and got me my own Christmas present. I've been looking for a purse (I'm not really a purse person), but lately I've felt like I've needed one. Since I've been selling Scentsy I've felt like I've been caring a lot of stuff around, therefor I need a purse, or a bag. But in this case I found a purse. I'm sure you all have heard of the brand. I've seen commercials and made fun of it, but when I went to the party I ended up really liking it. Ok, I will now tell you what I bought myself.


I bought myself a Miche bag.


I love it. They had a deal where you get the bag and two shells for $64, so I got myself one.

This is the 1st shell, it's called Leila. All you do is switch the shell out when you want an new cover. It's really easy.




This is the 2nd shell, it's called Scarlet.




I don't know if you guys like them, but I do. I am thinking about maybe having a party in May for my birthday. So if anyone is interested let me know.

Meatloaf

Today after church Shelby and I made meatloaf. She was really excited to help me with it. She added all the ingredients and even help mush it together. She told me every time I tried to help "mom,it's my time to cook". She did a really good job too. Her meatloaf is yummy. Shelby loves Meatloaf. She's eating hers all gone. To bad her sister Tyra wont try any.
