Motivation

I am trying to lose weight by the summer time (you all know that, I posted a blog about it), but I need some motivation. So I have made myself a motivation calender that I look at every morning when I wake up and every night before I go to bed. So hopefully all that will remind me to lose some weight and get healthy. I am also giving myself rewards if I work out at least 5 days a week for a month. I haven't come up with rewards for every month yet, but I will. I am really hoping to keep on track and lose some pounds! Here is my calender, I have whited out the pictures of me, nobody wants to see those.
(I just noticed I spelled calender wrong on the picture, oh well) I am pretty excited about it! I have also started me a journal where I am writing down my weight and exercise. I have also been keeping track of my food and counting calories. It is driving me crazy so it better work. Hopefully by summer I will be looking good!

You're totally going to get it, Kendall! And hopefully so am I. Nels and I were just talking about this very thing as I was cutting his hairs. We're there with you! :) We can all do it! I also think that drinking more water is key. I'm finally finding that I really crave it. I realize when I'm wanting to eat something, what I really need to do is drink a huge ol' glass of water and that usually makes all the difference.

I've done charts like that before too. Yours looks so much better than mine ever did though. I just made a chart with what I was going to do and then gave myself a sticker star if I did it. It's good that you have your goals out there to. Being reminded why you are doing it every day is great! Stick to it! I love water. It is what I drink.

Yup -- water. I struggle with that because I have NEVER been a big water drinker -- even before I started drinking soda! I just never drank that much of anything!! But I do firmly believe that water is the thing! It hydrates your body so you feel more energetic. It flushes out the cells so they can be more healthy. It helps the body get rid of all that yucky stuff including fat! It helps keep the blood vessels elastic so circulation is better. Stick with it!!
